Welcome to the best part of my life. I will share here my passion for family, food and feeding them, it is truly feeding a crowd!
Love recipes without pop-ups? Me too! But running this ad-free, pop-up-free kitchen costs over $500 a year. If my recipes have ever saved your dinner party, impressed your in-laws, or just filled your home with the smell of freshly baked bread, consider tossing a little dough my way! Every bit helps keep "Feeding a Crowd" alive and delicious.
Enjoy!
INGREDIENTS:
2 c. apple cider
½ c. maple syrup
½ c. brown sugar
1/2 c. table salt
1 tbsp. powdered yellow mustard
1 tbsp. whole grains black pepper
4 c. ice
INSTRUCTIONS:
Heat apple cider vinegar in a pot or microwave. In separate dish, place the rest of the ingredients, except the ice. Pour the hot vinegar over the dried ingredients and stir till the ingredients have melted down. Add ice and stir again, pour into a large Ziploc bag with the meat. Remove the air, close the bag and let it rest in the fridge or countertop if time is short, a marinade works best when not cold if time is limited.
Marinate for at least 2 hours. Tap your meat dry before grilling. Sprinkle with your favorite dry rub and grill to your liking, enjoy!
